It was a difficult start to the 2014/15 season for our B team when a lucky goal went past Adrian Burke in the Colemanstown goals to propel Galway Bohs to a 1-0 victory on Saturday. The majority of this game belonged to Colemanstown as they pressed forward time and time again and created a hatful of chances especially in the first half. Niall Skehill, Martin Walsh & Robert Lally had the best of the chances as all the possession belonged to Colemanstown who were upbeat heading in to half time. In the 2nd half Rob Lally found himself with a one-on-one chance which was squandered while Niall Skehill’s effort was booted over the crossbar from close range. Bohs had little or no chances in the game apart from the one they executed. This was an excellent all round performance from the B team in their first outing of the season as they had no game time and little action in their pre-season training due to their managerless situation which has since been rectified as Ross Sullivan & Gary Broderick are now taking the reigns. Niall Skehill did trojan work on the right wing while Paul Moore anchored central midfield. Steven Broderick & Kerrill Lally were solid at centre back in a game which seen players take on new roles and numerous positional switches relative to last season. They return to action next weekend when they take on Kinvara United in Kinvara on Saturday at 2pm.
