Our u12’s bowed out of the Cup at home today as they were powerless to stop a far superior Cois Farraige as they went on the rampage particularly in the second half with a feast of goals. Thady Moran scored Colemanstown’s sole goal but from the moment the visitors went 3-1 up the belief seemed to drain from our lads as the floodgates opened for Cois Farraige. The hospitality however was second to none as manager David Gilligan, looking more like Moses these days, and Grainne Lally linked up well as a hospitality team with David supplying the goodies and with Grainne’s top class catering skills served copious amounts of teas. Even Mrs Gilligan herself got involved making early morning sandwiches. Sincere thanks to all for the iniatitive. U12’s continue their league run on Saturday next with a home game against Moyne Villa. Our A team game vs West Utd tomorrow in the Michael Byrne Cup is cancelled due to a bereavement in West Utd.
