Share of the spoils for A Team in feisty league affair

Men’s Championship: Colemanstown 2- 2 Corrib Rangers. In a feisty enough league game against city side Corrib Rangers played at home on Saturday, Colemanstown were first on the score sheet when a lovely delivery from Kerrill Hardiman set Kyle Madden on a surging run, only to be manhandled to the ground. Kevin Barrett dispatched the penalty with ease.  Corrib Celtic equalised 15 mins later following a misplaced pass & their striker snuck in to restore parity.  Richie Lally pushed us 2-1 ahead again after he capitalised on a misplaced pass in midfield & scored a cracker from distance which looped in over the keepers head. At this point, we boasted the upper hand, but weren’t long being brought back down to earth when the visitors pounced on a mistake at the back to equalise soon afterwards which left the score 2-2 at the break. The 2nd half was true end-to-end stuff with only a handful of clear cut opportunities falling to either side. In the end both sides had to settle for a point in a somewhat feisty affair.
