10 weeks of pure study of premier league form came to a finale last night as both winners Aidan Sheridan, Oranmore & Des Joyce, Renmore shared €1,000 between them. They were formally presented with their prize money by Last Man Standing organisers David Gilligan & Jason Finn in Burke’s, Colemanstown last night, Incidentally, Des Joyce is a former inter-county referee and was linesman in the 2002 All Ireland football final between Armagh & Kerry. His ticket was sold by Ollie Crowe and as his daughter is due to wed during the festive season, the money will be more than welcome in the household. Aidan Sheridan is a cousin of current treasurer Kenny Duane and his ticket was sold by Niall Gelston. Presentation photo in our slideshow shows organisers David Gilligan & Jason Finn with Aidan Sheridan (on left) and Des Joyce (on right). Also included are Gerry Moran & Kenny Duane. A big thanks to the 2 musketeers for showing great initiative in taking on the organisation and running of this fundraising project.
