The glow of our u14’s fine start to the season has since faded as they head into the Winter break. Another lose, this time, away to Tuam Celtic as there was little to shout about from a Colemanstown point of view. Josh Lane had a chance for Colemanstown as early as the first minute but the keeper saved well in a one-on-one attempt. Tuam came more into the game and scored 10mins before the interval when a lapse of concentration in defense and poor marking resulted in a well taken goal. The 2nd half re-commenced with equal possession to both sides but it was Tuam again who piled on the pressure late in the game and with 7mins remaining scored their second to put the game past Colemanstown’s reach. Best for Colemanstown on the day were Stephen Kelly who was simply wonderful in goal; Jack Kennedy at centre back surged forward on every opportunity; newcomer Owen Naughton on the right wing and Conor O’Neill & Michael Glynn both at central midfield
